Joining
A public group is open to people who are inside its area, or within 500 metres of the edge. That is why the app asks for your location when you join. A private group is found by name, and its owner approves each request.
If nobody has started a group where you live, SORDA may have made a neighbourhood group already. If not, tap the plus and make one. It takes a name and a sentence about what it is for.
Inside a group
- Chat for the everyday back and forth, with photos.
- Announcements from the group's owner and moderators. Members get notified when one is posted.
- Media for photos with captions, likes and comments.
The same groups as SORDA AI
JiraniChat and SORDA AI share accounts and groups. If you are in a group on one, you are in it on the other, and messages appear in both.
