I already use SORDA AI. Do I need a new account?
No. Sign in with the same email or phone number and password. Your groups and chats are already there.
I did not get my code.
Tanzanian phone numbers get a code by SMS. Everything else gets one by email, so check your spam folder. On the code screen you can ask for a new one. The verification email may have SORDA in its name, because the accounts are shared.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in page, tap Forgot password? and enter your email or phone number. We send you a code to set a new one.
Why does joining a group need my location?
Public groups are for people who are in that area, so the app checks you are inside it or within 500 metres of its edge.
Why can I not see anyone in People near you?
Only people who chose Public appear, and only when the place you picked is within the distance they set. Most people start on Off, so an empty list is normal.
Why can I not start a chat with someone in my group?
They need availability on Members or Public. If they are on Off, they will not be in the list.
My photo will not send.
Use a JPEG or PNG smaller than 10 MB.
How do I stop someone contacting me?
Open your chat with them, tap the three dots, and choose Block this person.
How do I delete my account?
See deleting your account. It also deletes your SORDA AI account, because they are the same one.
